How to change my os to another language [english]?

my existing os is japaneseHow to change my os to another language [english]?
Changing the language on the control panel will only change the keyboard language.

To change the language of the messages you need to re-install the os from a disc that has that language on.

This could result in lost data.

Your existing os code should work for the new disc so you can in effect borrow the replacement disc and use your code.

Have fun.How to change my os to another language [english]?
Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Appearance and Personalization %26gt; Clock, Language and Regional (Found on the left hand column).
start %26gt; control panel %26gt; regional and language settings (Windows XP) [regional and language options for Vista] %26gt; format %26gt; English (United States) %26gt; Keyboards and Languages %26gt; Add %26gt; English.

Your computer will have to reboot to accept these changes.
Depends upon the os which type of you are using? if it is windows OS i'll advice u 2 do system restore with your installation CD in GUI mode%26amp; not in DOS mode, from there ask u 2 select the preferred language of your choice. But, please backup all your data because I am not sure 100% it will work.
It's NOT always possible unless you have an edition Windows that supported multiple languages, e.g. Windows 7 Ultimate. The language settings on Home / Pro versions usually do not help much. I have one computer in Korean and another in English. If you change the language settings to English on the Korean computer, you still won't be able to read that much.
