i change my monitor setting and now my monitor stays in standby even when i turn on my computer.And i have a ati RAGE2 graphics card i know i changed the setting from plug and play to something else i have a windows professionalHow can i change the OS blind?
Try restarting in ';safe mode';.
Power up the PC, then immediately start pressing the F8 key till you get the boot menu. Select start in safe mode.(no network support).
Then just reset back to plug-n-play monitor, or just delete it.
If you still can't see the screen in safe mode or not even see to get a boot menu, then you have a problem that is with the monitor, or your graphics card. The only way to check this is to try another card and/or monitor till you narrow down the exact problem.
