to change the settings of our wireless internet, we used our computer, but this broke. how do i change this os that i can change the settings on another computer?Wireless internet connection help?

If you still have the user's manual, check the procedure from there. Or you can open up your internet explorer and type in the router's IP or name in the address bar. It will prompt for the username and password. From there change the settings.Wireless internet connection help?

You can change/configure settings of your wireless router by any computer in 3 following ways:



1. Use the CD provider along with the router at the time of purchase, if the CD is not availble you can download the CD's contents from the router's manufacturer's website.



2. Restore the settings which you backed up from the router on the previous PC. For this access the router by it's address mentioned below.



3. Reset the router, by pressing for 5 seconds the RESET button located on router. Then manually configure the router. Default details are mentioned below.

Username: admin

Password: admin



Router: D-Link

Address: http://192.168.0.1

Username: admin

Password: (Leave Blank)



Router: Netgear

Address: http://192.168.0.1

Username: admin
