How do you change the settings on a Mac OS X to allow an article to print with no images, just text?

I have a Canon MP150 printer and have no idea how to figure this out. Tried googling the question, but to no avail. Hopefully someone knows the answer...

Help is much appreciated,

It not specific to OS X, but you may want to try the bookmarklet from www.printwhatyoulike.com. It allows you to specify what you want to print, even down to specific paragraphs. How do you change the settings on a Mac OS X to allow an article to print with no images, just text?
I think it is a kind of software you need to download
