Open device manager by:

Windows Key + R and type ';devmgmt.msc'; then click OK.

You should see a ';Multimedia'; device with a yellow question mark. Right click on it and choose properties. Click the Details tab, and choose ';Hardware IDs'; from the drop down menu.

Now, do a web search for ';VEN_####%26amp;DEV_####'; using the information provided. From there you can usually identify the device and also download the correct driver software.

You could probably contact Acer and ask for the Windows drivers. How do i fix my acer aspire one netbook sound problem?
