Click at the Safari menu (top left), and slide down to ';Preferences';. In the Preferences window, select the ';General'; icon (top left). Type your preferred home page in the ';Home page'; space.
If you used Windows before getting your Mac, you'll notice that every time you want to change how you prefer for something to work, you choose Preferences (where in Windows you chose ';Properties';).
