Removing and installing os?

Hai everyone. I want to know how to remove an os and install it. Pls tell me the correct procedure. And what are the drivers i need to install a os. Shall we download any os from internet? if yes, pls tell me the link.



How can i format my system fully?

How can i change only os without affecting other contents?

This is far too complicated a series of questions. To format completely and install from scratch you need to have OS install disks that you can boot to. From there you can wipe your drive clean and start new.Removing and installing os?
to reinstall windows without reformatting: if you are running windows just put in a windows CD and start it up and install normally without deleting anything, then you can delete the c:\windows folder afterwords and all done.



to install with reformatting: just copy the files you want to keep to a usb key or external hard drive and when the windows installer asks, delete the partition and create it again.

Put another OS CD in drive and restart the computer and it goes to setup window and it ask to install or not, click install choose that previous OS drive then click install it ask to format click yes and it format and contiunes the installation automatically.....................
