hello there thinking of changing over to linux my pc it hp a1629.uk

all drivers for xp and exe files if i was to change os how would i install drivers??Linux hp a1629.uk driver help?
for the most part, you don't have to install drivers like in windows. all the drivers you need are in the install dvd. and whatever linux version you use will automatically install your drivers for you. unless you have a really new peripheral, everything should work out of the box.

Linux has all the drivers you need for the pc itself, to be sure .. download a live cd of the flavour of linux you want to run and try it. - If it runs as a live cd then it'll run when installed.

I'd suggest one of the ubuntu flavours or mint, or puppy linux.
