I have 1 partition and im about to create another one ...i want to run 2 Os at the same time...help?

I have one partition , i use windows vista , i want to create another partition beacuse windows vista have more minimum requirment for games..so it would be easier to play them on XP , i know how to create partition , but how i change the os to xp ? i format that partition using windows XP CD?I have 1 partition and im about to create another one ...i want to run 2 Os at the same time...help?
Don't waste your time. Just get Windows 7 and upgrade your Vista installation to 7.

Yep, got it in one, make sure you format the new partition, not the one with Vista :)
You can't just ';create partitions'; it depends on your hard disk space and what the current partitions occupy.
When you insert the genuine XP cd at bootup, you can choose where to install it.



Simply create a formatted partition and install it there.



Once installed youll have the option of what OS to use
