changed os to ubuntu (hardy) new one , and when it loads the monitor says video out of range, and the ubuntu load screen is fuzzy and weird, but works fine after it loads up the log on screen, how can i fix the first bit that is messed up. or why is that messed up.Ubuntu, upgrade, start up screen fuzzy.?
For some reason, Hardy got rid of the ';vga=xxx'; boot parameter. You should edit GRUB to add a ';vga=xxx'; to the kernel line, where ';xxx'; is the Linux video mode number.

771 is probably the best one, but you may have to experiment to see which one works best.
